Appearance

Intense dark red in colour with light purple rim and shows good viscosity with distinct legs.

Smell

Very intense black currants, plums, raisins, blackberries, vanilla with soothing menthol character followed by ripe cherries and spice.

Taste

The wine is fresh with intense black currants, blackberries, cherries and a spicy clove character.

Shows good integration of oak with long length, well rounded plummy finish and mouth filling velvety tannins. Overall the wine is well balanced with good tannins and a mix of primary fruit and developed flavors with well integrated oak. Drink now or the flavour will develop well with 2 to 3 years of bottle maturation.
