Cabernet Sauvignon

A medium to full bodied wine; complex with good length; it will improve in the bottle with 1-2 years bottle maturation. It tastes of black currants, blackberries and tannins.

Appearance

Intense dark red colour with distinct violet rim. The wine has good viscosity showing distinct thick legs and good clarity.

Smell

The wine is very fruity with intense spice, black currants, black olives, tomato bush with hints of capsicum and dusty rose.

Taste

The wine is complex with intense black currants; herbaceous with developed characters like chocolates, pencil shavings. The tannins are velvety and mouth filling.

Best relished with

Kebabs, kormas and aromatic biryanis.
Cheese - Camembert, Danish Blue, Sharp Cheddar, Emmental, Jarisberg.
